mustafa, developing prana whilst suffering from chronic prostatitis

prana (formerly nurture) was created in the process of overcoming a ‘chronic’ disease diagnosis

hi! my name is mustafa. i’m a phd student from london, who had to take a year out of my studies due to debilitating mental and physical health issues, ultimately leading to a chronic disease diagnosis.

nurture was created iteratively during that time, as i first discovered heart rate variability and it’s link to chronic and acute stress. through improving my heart rate variability, i have seen lasting improvements in my mental and physical health.

given the number of people suffering from acute and chronic health conditions, physical and mental, i wanted to give back what i could. hence, nurture is 100% free, and always will be. the only cost to entry at the moment is an apple watch and an iphone, however i intend to release the app on other platforms (android) in the future.

whatever your story, i hope this app can be of use to you.

with immense gratitude to all of my teachers.

additional help and support of the app is provided by dr zakir khokher (cantab), the medical lead of prana
